Storey is a British cyclist who was born with a congenital amputation of her left hand. Despite this, she has had a successful career in both para-cycling and able-bodied cycling. She is a multiple gold medalist and a world champion in the Paralympic Games and has also competed in the able-bodied Commonwealth Games and World Championships.

At the 2012 Paralympic Games, Storey competed in the Women’s 500m time trial C4-5 event, which is a race against the clock where cyclists have to complete a set distance on a track as quickly as possible. Storey was able to secure a gold medal in this event, setting a new world record in the process.

Storey’s achievement at the 2012 Paralympic Games is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and perseverance. She has shown that even with a physical disability, it is possible to compete and excel at the highest level of sport.
