2012 Paralympic Games – Sarah Storey – Cycling – Women’s road race C4–5

Storey is a British cyclist who was born with a congenital amputation of her left hand. Despite this, she has had a successful career in both para-cycling and able-bodied cycling. She is a multiple gold medalist and a world champion in the Paralympic Games and has also competed in the able-bodied Commonwealth Games and World Championships.

At the 2012 Paralympic Games, Storey competed in the Women’s road race C4-5 event, which is a race on the road where cyclists have to complete a set distance as quickly as possible.
